Dating : Should I get someone else to take my photos for online dating, and if so who?
My photos are all screenshots taken on my computer or selfies taken from my phone. I notice many other people with photos that clearly weren’t selfies or computer screenshots, but I wonder how they took them. Either way, they always look far better than my ones.
I’m in a dilemma because I don’t have any friends to take them, family taking them would be awkward, so that leaves me with strangers or hiring some professional service to take the photos. What is your suggestion?
Get a professional photographer to take photos.
How about a phone tripod and timer or shutter remote? That way you could pose or have full body pictures without needing someone to take them for you.
You mention you don’t have any friends, which I know wasn’t the point of your post, but is this something you’re working on? Have you recently moved to a new city and are yet to build your friendship network? I only say this because it could be a red flag in dating – your potential dates may wonder who your friends are/why you don’t have any.
