Depends on how long we’ve been seeing each other. A week? Something like an immediate family member dying or being in the hospital. A month or more? No chance.
He did a slow fade and reached out again after a month, explained to me he was unwell and embarrassed that it had nothing to do with me, gave him a second chance however my feelings changed by then and eventually I ghosted – he asked and explained again as he felt I’ve changed and I did give him an explanation why.
