Dating : White men, how many of you would date a colored woman?
I am a biracial female (African American and Italian) who could be mistaken for a light skinned black girl. A lot of people say that i look like I could be Tia and Tamera Mowry’s long lost sister, lol.
And I have been developing a crush on a white guy….but I am not sure if he would be interested in dating a colored woman since I am not sure how many white guys would date a colored woman….:/
I don’t know, I am just feeling insecure and maybe if I knew there were more white males open to dating colored women, it would probably give me more courage to shoot my shot.
I’m a white guy and there are plenty of women of color that I have found very attractive. I did find that I was culturally different from a lot of black women, though. Not that it’s a problem, but it may make some people reluctant to step out of their comfort zone.

I’m a demi male so as long as I emotionally connected to the girl skin color isn’t even part of the decision process for me

I haven’t heard the term « colored » in many years. But I guess it is the same as « person of color. »
I have no problem with the idea of dating a woman of any race other than Caucasian. Skin color doesn’t define you as a person nearly as much as your personality, and *that’s* what’s important.
Sounds like you’re a bit out of touch. Maybe make friends of various cultures/ from different countries to get out of your comfort zone culturally.

I would it depends. If she is specifically going after me because of the color of MY skin like she doesn’t want me to do to her it’s gonna be a no and it seems a lot of black women that like white mine are like this.
When did it become wrong to say female? I use it just so I don’t have to try to assess age by saying woman or girl. Is there a better word we should be using?
you’re going to get more ‘yes’ answers, just because this is a largely left wing site and people tow a particular ideological bent here. if you want a realistic answer you have to look at dating studies, which show things aren’t really bad for you at all.
yes black women get slightly less replies from white men than white women do in most dating studies (this is true for ALL races by the way, so don’t feel bad – it’s just a result of most people preferring people that look like them, and has nothing to do with you as a person), but, and this is the important part, the reply rate **is still over 50%,** and this is with very few black women going after white men to begin with.

I’m Italian, for reference, I don’t know if I could date someone very dark skin, but light skin absolutely, there’s some women I would date in a heartbeat, I say go for it
You know what Im just gonna say it I dont care… white women are boring af for the most part. Women of color tend to have greater morals, more culture and In my personal opinion are more physically attractive in general. My sons mother is Brazilian and very dark skinned, shes gorgeous.
