  1. Just be yourself. If something catches my attention, it’s because of an unusual interest I share with someone.

But if you’re looking for number over quality, a different strategy apply.

  2. I’m a guy interested in women, but in all honesty looks is the first thing. Really, the entire process is exclusionary rather than anything. First off is if I don’t think you are attractive, pass. Then if you have no bio, or some crap like « ask me », pass. Any other major « nos » for me present in the bio, pass. Much after that, I’m pretty much willing to take the chance on a match because their is no risk to matching and then upon closer inspection, not actually being interested. As far as openers, I try to put in a little effort and comment on something in their pics or bio if I can, otherwise just the generic « hey, how was your weekend / how’s your week? ».

  3. # You a girl? We only care if its hot or not, unless there something way too dumb or childish in the description. But you can « overhot » that too.
