Dating : Am I the only one that thinks that when a girl says “never here follow my ig and send me a line” on bumble it defeats the purpose of the app?
If you are not gonna message me but want me to be a creep and follow you and message you on IG then what was the purpose of using bumble in the first place? Might as well just go back to using tinder if that is the case.
girls only do that to get more followers and more attention.
Instagram is super huge flag to put it nicely.
Facebook is not great … in fact it is outright terrible… but Instagram is not a network it is purely about hierarchies.

1. Get curious and download dating app.
2. Realize that they can get hundreds if not thousands of matches even if they’re average or below average in appearances.
3. Get a ton of messages from creepy/thirsty guys.
4. Want nothing to do with these creepy/thirsty guys, but they can be used to Venmo money or increase followers on Instagram
5. Profit?
Validation and attention farming. Often low self esteem women feeding off the attention of beta orbiters.

Unless the messaging system on Bumble is trash the way it is on OKC, it shouldn’t be necessary to move to IG. I’ve never used Bumble, so I have no idea. But yeah that sounds odd.
Just want followers. I matched with a girl on Hinge & her first message was “hey add me on Instagram I barely use this” so I added her and messaged her and she didn’t respond, welp no reason for me to follow you so “unfollow”
Any profile that has their Instagram is a left swipe from me. OLD sites should really start banning that shit. I wouldn’t link my SoundCloud on my OLD profile. I’m on dating sites to find a girlfriend, not increase my followers.
Oh interesting, I had a guy send me his ig for that purpose and I didnt respond as I thought it was silly and didnt meet my expectations.
