Dating : I’m really confused with height
I’m 5’5. Everyone says the average height is 5’10 and 5’5 is short but then when I go out in the real world, I’m taller or the same height as most guys. Is everyone lying about height on the internet, or am I actually retarded & can’t mesure myself properly?
Average height for men is like 5 foot 8.
But it can fluctuate by race, age, and region. And very tall and very short people skew the number.
Maybe look up mean and median heights for a more complete picture?

Where I am, 5’5 would definitely be considered short and below average height. Most commonly in my area, I would say men are between 5’9 and 5’11.
it depends where you live. I live in Asia and i’m 5’11 so pretty tall by Asian standards however the new generation of kids are getting really tall so yes, the averages vary and will surely change in the future.
More important is, be happy with who you are and don’t let anyone tell you different.

at least you can have eye level convos with people… height should not be an issue as long as your close to others

I’m 5’6″ and South Asian in an area filled with other South Asians. I’m short but I don’t feel very tiny compared to other guys. When I’m on Campus tho I feel like a kid.
When i go to the doctor and they tell me my height in inches i feel stupid asking them to convert that so i never actually know my height.
I been told im 6’0 based on whos taller and shorter then me.
