Dating : Met my(21F) dream guy at a job interview, and he was the interviewer.

I’m looking for interning opportunities these days, and got a call from this small startup inviting me to a job interview.

I gladly went and was shocked when I saw the CEO (also the interviewer) was barely older than me and even really attractive. He was exactly my type.
During the interview I was quite inspired by his work ethics and vision because it corresponded with mine so well – we even had the same religion.

He obviously wants me in his company (since he was the one who called me) but after the interview I got a feeling that this is not the right job for me, so I’m planning to decline the offer.

But I really want to get to know this guy, although I don’t even know if he’s single. How do I approach him without actually agreeing to the job?

  1. Ew. Sorry. This is giving me a bad feeling. Besides the fact that it’s highly inappropriate, it would be a nightmare for him and you if it’s misinterpreted.

I wouldn’t come on to him in ANY professional situation.

If you want to meet him apart from a work environment, you are better served by just hanging out where he might go. Otherwise, hope that you see him again away from business.

Plus, dream guy after a short interview? That seems a bit of a stretch, doesn’t it? What could either of you really learn about each other in such a short time?

Don’t embarrass yourself by making a bad move. You want to work in that field for a while.

  2. You’re 21

That explains alot, no disrespect intended. Refuse the offer, ask the guy out but step back a bit with the « Dream Guy » narrative and try to ground your senses more.

  3. Oh please. You don’t find the guy of your dreams in a single sitting. It’s ok that you find them attractive and want to boink, but just be honest about that with yourself. Because usually when you find somebody attractive and that’s the first thing you mention, they could be talking about drowning puppies and starting another holocaust, and you’d most likely be “I admire and respect how he’s a visionary.”

Tl;dr physical attraction = = actual respect, admiration or attraction beyond the physical

  4. decline the offer and ask him if you can share something personal. if he says yes, send him this reddit post’s link.

he’s a bloody ceo, be bold! gl OP
